Yes, this game uses the Unreal Engine, which is completely top-of-the-line. But compare this game to Homefront, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, Bulletstorm, Gears of War 3, or Borderlands. Some of those games look better than others, but some of them look downright bland. All of them use the same engine as Spec Ops.

What happens in the story might be stretched to fit into the genre, but Spec Ops as a game is purely an action shooter. The endings (SPOILERS) So i just completed the game and ran throught the last two chapters multiple times to get all the the endings, unless there's more than four, then I haven't got them all. Due the nature of the game none are really good but assuming I have all the endings, I'm guessing the "A road home" ending is the closest to been good.
